Born in Cerano, Piedmont, 1932. Artist and designer. He studied at the Brera Academy in Milan and joined the Arte Programmata movement. During the 1960s he designed book series for Adelphi and Boringhieri, and collaborated with Olivetti, Montecatini, and Danese for which he designed numerous products, including toys. He designed many furniture pieces for Driade and other brands, winning two Compasso d’Oro. He taught at the Umanitaria School and the Politecnico University in Milan, the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, the University of Parma, the ISIA of Florence and the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. Member of ADI, acting as president in 1976-79. He lives in Milan.
