Born in 1945 in Milan, Lombardy. From 1961 to 1964 he studied at the Umanitaria School of Book Design under Bob Noorda and started working at Unimark International as Massimo Vignelli’s assistant. In 1969 he co-founded G&R Associati with his brother Giorgio and others working for major companies including Arflex, Artemide, Bilumen, aguzzini, La Scala, Olivari, Piccolo Teatro, Vogue, and the City of Milan.
