Born in 1915 in Padua, Veneto. Trained in artistic drawing, he worked as an illustrator, graphic artist, and decorator, also dedicating himself to painting and glass pottery. In 1933 he began collaborating with Arnoldo Mondadori and Motta publishing houses. After WWII, he settled in Milan working as a graphic artist in the publishing field. From the early 1950s, he exclusively collaborated with Garzanti publishing house for which he designed both corporate graphics and many book covers until 1975. He died in 1996 in Milan, Lombardy.
