A cover of Campo Grafico magazine showing what at that time was a very innovative printing technique, called rainbow printing or “irisdruck” in Germany. Different inks were put side by side on the printing drum to let them melt together when pressed on the paper.
  The same year, one month later, this printing technique was also used by German typographer Jan Tschichold (1902-1974) on his famous poster titled “Der Berufsphotograph”. [NMM]
