Founded in 1938 in New York by Hans Knoll, it’s one of the best known furniture manufacturing company in the world, in particular thanks to the production of some of the most famous pieces of modern design such as the Barcelona Chair by Mies. Since 1953, the company was accorded exclusive manufacturing and sales rights to Mies van der Rohe’s furniture.
