Born in 1945 in Milan, Lombardy. He graduated in architecture and started working at the Piccolo Teatro. In 1976 he cofounded Origoni Steiner in Milan together with Ms. Anna Steiner, the daughter of Albe Steiner. During his career, he served prominent companies including Alfa Romeo, Ansaldo, Fiat, La Rinascente, Pininfarina, Snam, Sole 24 Ore, and others. Since 1989 he collaborates with Renzo Piano on the design of Renzo Piano Building Workshop’s monographs and also acts as advisor to the Renzo Piano Foundation. He currently teaches exhibition design at the Milan Polytechnic University. He wrote books and essays about design.
