Born in 1900 in Trento, Trentino-Aldo Adige. He worked for leading Italian typographer Raffaello Bertieri since 1935. In 1938 he became the last editor and designer of Campo Grafico magazine, introducing innovative solutions for the design of the magazine. He died in 1976 in Milan, Lombardy.
