Born in 1955 in Trieste, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. He graduated in architecture from IUAV (Venice University of Architecture), where he later taught editorial design. He started his involvement in graphic design in 1976, while still a student. In 1980 he cofounded Tassinari/Vetta with Paolo Tassinari focusing on the field of editorial and exhibition design. Art director of Casabella magazine from 1996 to his death and art director of Electa publishing house’s architecture department from 2001 to 2003. During his career he collaborated with prominent architects and designers such as Achille Castiglioni, Aldo Rossi, Jost Hochuli, Mario Botta, Massimo Vignelli, and others. In 2002 he cofounded CoDesign with Paolo Tassinari and Leonardo Sonnoli (later merged with Tassinari/Vetta). Member of AGI (Alliance Graphique International). He died in Trieste in 2003.
