First assistant to Bob Noorda and later employed at Unimark International, he spent 10 years working with both Noorda and Vignelli contributing to the design of projects developed for major clients including Agip, Mondadori, Lombardy Region and the subways of New York, Sao Paulo and Milan. In 1971 he established his own design agency in Milan focusing on corporate identity and packaging.
