The official mark of Lombardy Region represents a Camunian rose, one of the oldest rock carvings of Lombardy. A great graphic synthesis with a strong cultural value. Designed by Bob Noorda in collaboration with Pino Tovaglia, and Roberto Sambonet who proposed to use the Camunian rose as the symbol of the region. The project was developed under the creative direction of Bruno Munari, who published a book about it in 1977.
