A perfect synthesis of the world of wool, through the abstraction of a wool ball. The controversial origin of the mark is because Grignani had to participate under a false name in the contest organized by IWS, since he was a member of the jury. For a long time the mark was credited to a nonexistent Francesco Saroglia, since Grignani never revealed his authorship except within his studio. The mark was originally sketched by Grignani at dinner, using a fork on a tablecloth. In 2011 Creative Review stated that this is the number one mark of all time.
