Mark for Bilumen (Bianchi+Lumen), a lighting fixtures manufacturing company based in Peschiera Borromeo, Milan. The mark effectively suggests light diffusion and the passage from light to dark and viceversa. Designed during the same year in which Fioravanti cofounded his own firm, G&R Associati, it was a very popular mark during the 1970s. Unfortunately, it is not used anymore by the company. (The mark portrayed in the images has been redrawn and may slightly differ from the original.) Fioravanti also designed the company’s logotype and the entire corporate identity system.
