Notes
Cover of Campo Grafico, “magazine of graphics aesthetics and technique,” two-tone printed in Modern’s classic black and red. It was the most important magazine about modern graphics in 1930’s Italy, strongly contributing to the promotion of rational graphic design.
Perondi enlarged and merged the initials of the magazine’s title, thus generating a sort of abstract, geometric shape that becomes the core of the layout. The black lines of text overprinted to red elegantly suggest the idea of depth and movement. [NM]
