One of the greatest masterpieces of graphic design. A beautiful book cover designed by Max Huber, using Modern’s classic colours (white, black, red). The idea of news broadcasting is perfectly illustrated through the repetition of circular clippings, cut out from newspapers and rotated in order to visually emphasize the sense of amplification. Further dynamism is communicated thanks to the slanting of texts and the asymmetric position of the microphone, which is the visual origin of the spinning movement. [NM]
