Born in Milan, Lombardy, 1923. He studied at the Arts High School and the Brera Academy of Art in Milan. Apprenticed by Albe Steiner, he started working in 1946 collaborating for twenty years with Studio Boggeri on numerous projects for major clients such as Bemberg, Champion, Pirelli, and Roche. In the 1950s he founded Studio HB in partnership with Max Huber, his former boss. During the 1960s he first worked at the advertising office of Pirelli, and later established CBC advertising agency with Umberto Capelli and Aldo Calabresi with whom he worked until 1983. He designed the posters for the Fiera di Milano for more than twenty years. He died in Milan, 1988.
