Notes
The official guide of the 14th Milan Triennale exhibition. Known as the “Triennale that lasted one day”, the 1968 edition was closed on the same day of its opening due to occupation by workers, students, and artists who protested that the management of all cultural institutions was democratic, in the wake of May 68 student protests. Damaged during the occupation, the exhibition reopened after a month.

The cover features an intelligent graphic solution using foreground and background images to produce both the letter T of Triennale and the number 14 of the edition. The same solution was used on the catalogue, posters, tickets, and other printed matter, thus generating a visual effective coordinated image for the exhibition. [NMM]
