Founded in 1923 in Monza, Lombardy, as the Biennale of Decorative Arts, it moved to Milan in 1933 becoming the Triennale Exhibition of Arts and Architecture. It’s one of the most important exhibition on the international scene and a milestone in the history of modern architecture and design.
