Redesign of the logotype introduced in 1989 by Oliviero Toscani. Part of a new corporate identity program designed by Vignelli. The logotype, set in the corporate typeface based on Gill Sans, is visually clear and suggests a positive attitude towards simplicity. Furthermore, putting the text within the green field emphasizes the idea of the logo as a clothing label.
